Born in 1993, Cambodia. He has been an Interior Design student of Royal University Of Fine Art, In 2012 with his compact camera in art school, He was always love to take picture as it was his hobby and as well as photos for sketching or painting. He thought frequently between drawing or painting and photographing that had a lot of things similar, waiting for the time and moment, waiting for the light, creating them by mood and spirit, choosing composition, making creation and artistic . . . .
Then in the early 2013, He attended his first photography class with Kim Hak (Tutor) in Studio Image, The Institute Frances of Cambodia. What he has learned at his first photography was related to documentary photography, making story in the photo series, also conceptual photography. Since the end of year 2013 until now, He has joined some more photography workshops, Photo Clinic workshop2013 with Anne Holmes (Tutor), Siem Reap. Intermediate photography class with Phann Phearith (Tutor), I-Qlick Cambodia, Photo Clinic workshop2014 with Vencent Soyez (Tutor), Siem Reap. International Photo Clinic workshop2015 with Herbie Yamaguchi (Tutor), Japan. And PhotoPhnomPenh Festival workshop with Patricia Lanza (Tutor), Phnom Penh.
During He was studying in Studio Image, almost one year, He worked on a story called “Darkness” an it was exhibited in PhotoPhnomPenh2013, at Institute Frances of Cambodia. Then in 2014, He had another photo series exhibition called “Unconcealed” and It was exhibited at Royal University of Fine Art.
Back in 2013, He won a third place of the theme “Belief” of Cambodia Canon Photo Marathon III. And in 2014, He also won a second place of the theme “Generation” of Cambodia Canon Photo Marathon IV. Then He was the one who chosen to join the International Photo Clinic in the Central of Japan, and He was selected as top 2 among top 5 selection Photograph during the workshop. And now He is continuing and finishing his several documentary photo projects. He is also working on commercial photography as a freelancer. He did research and mostly worked with photo assignments like Architecture and Interior Photography.
